Property search is changing. Your information needs to keep up.

Buyers, tenants, and condo owners can now ask an AI assistant very specific questions. To answer correctly, the assistant needs to find reliable information about a property, a building, or a procedure. Weftd helps your teams gather, structure, and validate it.

01The shift

It's no longer just about searching a property with filters.

Buyers can now describe their project directly to an AI assistant: family situation, commutes, acceptable renovation work, desired surroundings…

Yesterday

Lyon 6th · 3 rooms · 70 sqm minimum · €450,000 maximum · balcony

The project is reduced to a few comparable criteria.

Today

We're looking for a quiet apartment for two young children, less than 35 minutes from both our workplaces, with outdoor space and little renovation work.

The assistant interprets these constraints and can shortlist properties before a portal is even visited.

As a result: a listing needs to be able to answer much more specific questions than a simple list of criteria.

02Three major uses

Transaction, rental management, condo associations: three different uses of information.

Weftd doesn't replace your business software or your teams. It makes the information they hold easier to find, verify, and reuse.

A professional clarifies the constraints of a property search before a conversational shortlist.

Transaction

Answer precisely before the viewing

Link property characteristics, diagnostics, condo association decisions, and local information to better prepare comparisons and viewings.

  • Pre-viewing questions
  • Approved renovation work
  • Real budget
  • Property surroundings
03Scattered information

Your information already exists, but it's scattered.

Diagnostics, floor plans, bylaws, meeting minutes, leases, service charge statements, contracts, and field notes already exist. But this information stays scattered across business software, PDFs, shared folders, emails, and your teams' memory.

What you already have

  • Diagnostics and floor plans
  • Bylaws and meeting minutes
  • Charges, budgets, and approved renovation work
  • Leases, contracts, and procedures
  • Field notes and local information

What an assistant needs to understand

  • Which document is authoritative?
  • Has a more recent decision changed this information?
  • Which property, unit, or amenity does it relate to?
  • Who can this information be shown to?
  • When was it last verified?
A mass of scattered real estate documents transformed into structured, linked information.
Useful information needs to be dated, linked to the right property, validated, and accessible to the right people.
04The risk

AI assistants rely on the sources they can access.

Portals remain essential for distribution. But if their data is the most complete, assistants will naturally rely on them to understand and compare your properties.

Having depended on portals to be seen, will we now need to depend on them to be understood?

For transactions

The point isn't to leave the portals, but to keep a reference source you control and can reuse regardless of the channel or assistant.

For condo associations

The answers often already exist in meeting minutes, bylaws, contracts, and building records. Yet your teams still have to search for them manually.

05The Weftd answer

The Space links every piece of information to the right property and the right document.

It complements your existing tools, links information to the right properties and documents, then lets you decide what can be used, by whom, and in what context.

  1. 01

    Import

Websites, listings, PDFs, floor plans, business software exports, and information entered by your teams.

  2. 02

    Structure

Characteristics, decisions, amounts, dates, procedures, units, and amenities.

  3. 03

    Validate

Your teams check, correct, date, and decide the access level.

  4. 04

    Use

Your teams and your clients access the right information based on their permissions.

  5. 05

    Improve

Unanswered questions point to information that needs completing or updating.

No information is published as a reference without your teams' validation. The Space changes neither the legal value of documents nor the role of licensed professionals.

Weftd is not a CRM, a transaction platform, an extranet, or a signature or payment tool. Your operations stay run by your business systems; the Space complements them and points back to them.

06Concrete example

A reliable answer distinguishes what's certain from what still needs checking.

A home search refined based on a family's constraints.

A sample scenario, not a live assistant.

User's question

“Is this apartment suitable for a family with two young children?”

Information used

  • 2 bedrooms
  • Elevator and stroller storage
  • Rooms facing the courtyard
  • Approved or planned renovation work

Verified information

The home has two separate bedrooms, an elevator, and stroller storage. The rooms face the courtyard, so they're away from street traffic.

To confirm

The latest meeting minutes mention a facade renovation under consideration, but no budget has been approved yet.

Human follow-up needed

A viewing is still needed to assess noise levels and check whether the layout fits the family's needs.

07Operational benefits

The same information can serve your teams and your clients alike.

01

Find information faster

Your teams retrieve a decision, an amount, a procedure, or a document without reassembling the whole file.

02

Answer before the first call

The buyer, tenant, or condo owner gets a first answer based on information you've validated.

03

Preserve institutional memory

Information held by a single agent, manager, or condo association president stays accessible and reusable.

04

Keep control of your information

You're not solely dependent on a portal, an extranet, or an assistant to present your own information.

08The whitepaper

What AI assistants are changing for real estate.

The whitepaper analyzes the shift to conversational search, its limits, and the three major uses: transaction, rental, and condo associations. It also proposes a method for starting with a reasonable scope.

  • The shift from filter-based to intent-based search
  • The double intermediation of portals and assistants
  • The cases of transaction, rental, and condo associations
  • Access levels, risks, and validation rules
  • A seven-step pilot path
09Frequently asked questions

The Space, in practice.

Does Weftd replace our business software?

No. The Space complements your CRM, transaction software, extranet, or condo management tool. It links the information they contain or point to, without running operations in their place.

What does "reference source" mean at Weftd?

It refers to information your organization has validated and agreed to make available. The Space gives it no particular legal value: that remains attached to the deeds, documents, and licensed professionals.

Does a Space guarantee an assistant will recommend our properties?

No. No one controls a consumer AI assistant's final answer. Weftd does let you make reliable, structured, up-to-date information available to it when it's able to consult your source.

Aren't our PDFs enough?

An assistant can read a PDF, but the file doesn't always say which version is authoritative, what a more recent decision changed, which property it relates to, or who can view it. The Space adds those links and access rules.

How do you protect sensitive information?

Each piece of information can be assigned an access level: public, a named individual, stakeholders, or internal. A tenant file's personal documents aren't meant to be published.

Can Weftd provide legal advice?

No. The Space relies on validated information and points to the notary, diagnostician, lawyer, condo manager, or any other licensed professional when an interpretation or a decision is needed.

What scope should we start with?

The whitepaper recommends a limited pilot: three to five properties, or a condo association that generates many questions. The goal is to validate answer quality and access rules before expanding.

A first scope is enough

Start with a few properties or a single condo association.
